What’s the difference between AKC vs. RBDA? Yorkie
Terrier VS American Hairless Terrier?
What is all the hoopla about? What is this about
having our dogs association to a club? Numerous pet owners do not even
belong to a club. Dog owners, who take pride in their pets, will
generally register their dogs in some kind of kennel club, specifically
if they plan to breed their dog. Registered dogs tend to cost a little
more and are more appealing to dog buyers. The first stands for American
Kennel Club.
The other stands for the Rare Breed Dog
Association. These are dogs that the other assoc. does not recognized.
The Yorkie? Yep, sure they recognize those sweeties. Seems a bit silly
really. I mean come on... the dang thing is sitting right there in front
of your face, are you going to tell me it's not a dog? And if you see 20
of the same types of dogs, all looking like they came from the same mom
and dad, are you now going to tell me that they are not a true breed?
Ah well, that is the case. Hey, I love Yorkie
terriers. They are so adorable and cute and wonderful little dogs. Yep,
they are of the A K C type. But there are other terrier breeds that are
not. :( They are considered rare because well, they are not just yet all
that common.
Make sense?
Oh well. Hey, those hairless terriers all look the
same to me, but well, the other group just isn't ready to accept that
yet.
But you're probably here because you adore the
Yorkie terrier as much as I do. :)
Anyway, that's the difference. So, whether you have
an A "OK" C registered Yorkshire terrier, or as I like to call them,
Yorkie, I'm sure you love them all the same.
